Maritime Domain Awareness, Verified From Space.
Scroll to exploreWhat We Solve
The world’s oceans carry 90% of global trade, but much of what happens at sea is invisible to conventional monitoring. AIS is the foundation of maritime tracking, and it works well when vessels cooperate. The problem is that AIS has gaps. Vessels disable their transponders to go dark. They spoof their positions. They share MMSI numbers. They evade sanctions through ship-to-ship transfers in open water. When AIS fails, AIS-only platforms see nothing.
Theia is a maritime intelligence platform built to close those gaps. We use AIS as one input among many, then add satellite imagery, synthetic aperture radar, and proprietary analytics to verify what AIS shows and detect what AIS misses. The result is vessel tracking without the gaps, maritime domain awareness that does not depend on cooperation, and intelligence that professionals trust to act on.
